Being a Coach Coaching has become a very popular career and with this has come a surge of people working in the profession without qualifications. Often this is simply because they are just not aware of the complexity of coaching and the availability of books on the subject makes it seem very straight forward.
However, it is a role which requires a high level of skill and therefore education. Eventually those who are in the field who do not have the skill base or the credentials will fade away.
Being a Coach carries responsibilities – not only as someone involved in other people’s lives, but as a business person in terms of the delivery of your service. It requires commitment and a genuine desire to see people do well in their lives.
