Level 2 - Diploma in Coaching

Ready to further your Coaching education?

This training is aimed at those Coaches with previous training and practical coaching experience.  You will most likely hold your ACC or equivalent and will therefore have at least 100 hours coaching behind you.

Overview

This programme is suitable for experienced coaches who have completed Level 1 with the NZSC or who are able to cross-credit from an alternative suitable coach education programme.  It is likely that those undertaking this programme will have gained their ACC with the ICF and will be on a path towards gaining their PCC with the ICF.  This programme builds upon a foundation of previous coach training.

Consistent with our education philosophy of individualised, competency based training, the Applied Coach Education Level 2 Programme is focused on the subject matter relevant to your personal and business skill needs.  We use ACCELERATED learning techniques and experiential learning.  The learning environment is a self-directed and self-paced one, consistent with the application of our STRATEGIC COACHING MODEL principles.   Class size is kept to a minimum, with the ideal number of students being 4 per class.

By the completion of the programme you will have the necessary skills and knowledge to commence working towards PCC Certification with the ICF and/or to position yourself in the market place as a coach who has a high level of expertise in specialised market niches.

The specific timeframes for your programme are as negotiated with you and your tutor.  Your Programme outline is drawn up following a competency analysis completed with you and any other interviews and testing conducted prior to your entry to the programme

On successful graduation from the programme, a Diploma is presented to the student.  Successful graduation requires a 70% pass in a written examination, successful completion of a practical fieldwork and completion of each selected topic.  Three practical coaching sessions will be observed by the Director of Training and feedback provided.

Coaches from other schools are able to attend this programme following an application process.

Curriculum

We offer the following specialist areas.  To graduate from Level 2, you will be required to complete at least 2x25 credit units and 2x8 credit units (a minimum of 66 credits in total).
